Japanese hand painted, embroidered and gilded silk wedding
kimono, vintage, 1960's
Eye-catching and bright Japanese expensive figured
silk kimono with long sleeves ( furisode) and with
slightly padded hem adorned with hand-painted and
gilded with garden flowers, bamboo leaves, also a garden
gate with a wicker twigs fence and tea house in a garden.
You can see two pairs of Mandarin ducks are floating in
a golden brook among lush flowers as Japanese symbol of
love and happy marriage. The Kimono is partly embroidered
with golden treads and it is lined with white silk.
Stunning interior design statement and also great collectors
item or to wear for theatre stage.
The kimono is in excellent condition and with really artistic
taste.
