Japanese man's silk black formal haori with samurai
and Dragon scene, pre WWII
HAORI is mid-length loose jacket that serve
as a coat to be worn over a kimono. Haori are traditional
Japanese clothes which were worn by men as a component of
the formal attire. All kimono jackets are hand sewn and
"one of a kind". Haori can be used as a garment or an unique
interior decor to brighten up the corner of your home.
That is Japanese work of Art, pre WWII black formal man's
silk haori with five samurai family mon or
crest and with khaki-gold silk jacquard lining with
images of Dragon holding the Pearl of Wisdom and a Samurai
fingering with biwa (Japanese string musical
instrument). Samurai partly dressed in armor and part of
his armor as well as tachi sword and a quiver
are at hand. Slight glimmer of lantern lights up the scene.
Haori is in excellent condition inside and out.
