Japanese doll of a a long hair beauty dancing with
folding fan in her hand, 1970's
Japanese big graceful and stylish
kimono doll
dressed with numerous silk kimonos. Doll's upper kimono
colored in dark-purple with embroidered on a hem a pair
of white stork flying over a mountain peak. The upper kimono's
sleeve is thrown off to reveals another silk kimono
colored with color of the iris. And numerous of her inner
kimonos colored in red and white.
Doll's silk brocaded obi belt colored in gold tied
in big bow on her back.
Young dancer's long black hair is beautifully adorned with
wonderfully carved pins with pendant in shape of origami
stork and with long silver pin with pendant as well
as silk ribbon and another pin on the back of the head.
The doll holds a folding golden fan with plants design in
her hand.
This wonderfully designed big doll stands on black lacquered
wooden stand. Her face is tender and pensive.
