Japanese doll of a dancing woman with fan, 1970's
This graceful wonderfully dressed
Japanese interior
doll crafted in Tokyo by famous artist, around 1970-s
and represents beautiful lady in brilliant designed kimono
and with rich adorned hair style and with hand-painted with
pine motif golden fan in her hand.
Her upper silk kimono's long right sleeve with rich floral
design thrown off to reveals crimson silk her under
kimono designed with Bird of Paradise motif. And her another
under kimono is white with golden flowers.
Silk brocade obi tied on back and adorned with yellow silk
scarf and ribbon. Her black hair dresses in late Edo style
and adorned with carved comb, red ribbon and two long
hair-pins.
Dimensions: 45 cm / 17,7 inches high
