Finely modeled Japanese doll made traditionally in
kimekomi
technique represents
Japanese Noh theatre character called OKINA, dressed in magnificent
silk brocade stage costume: kimono with intricate
pattern and hakama. His face covered up by traditional
mask depicts old man with white beard and moustache.
He holds golden hand painted folding fan in his hand and
hold up another hand over his head with black courtier
hat.
Mask features are well modeled and delicately hand painted,
and tufts of hair fall in doll chest. .
Dimensions: 21cm/ 8,3 inches high
