Japanese Antique Porcelain Figure of a woman dressed with
rich patterned kimono and with small drum in her hand
Finely rendered impressive Japanese antique porcelain figure
of a lady-musician with small nightingale in her hand.
She walks proudly in her expensive clothes, holding a small
drum in her one hand, with her other hand, she supports her
upper kimono. The woman's intricate hairstyle is decorated with
a floral tiara and a silk headpiece and ribbons. Her luxurious
clothing is decorated with a pattern of Wisteria flowers,
pine crowns and adorned with silk ropes and her under-kimono
designed with peony flowers. Highly collectible and rare
item of Japanese art with really antique taste.
About 1850-60's lade Edo period.

Measurements: 30 cm / 11.8 inches high
Over glaze coating, relieves, gilt, cobalt blue, enamels,
hand-painting, hand-modeling.
