Japanese geisha antique sliver-gold smoking pipe or kiseru,
Meiji era
Japanese antique (probably geisha's) silver and gold smoking
pipe or 'kiseru' with bamboo shift. Picturesque landscape
with a watermill and plants is engraved artistically all
around on tetrahedral silver and gold mouthpiece and
fishing net on drying is engraved on head of the tobacco-pipe.
Artist name (Masa-Hisa) and stamp also engraved on the mouthpiece
of this antique tobacco pipe. Highly collectible piece
of Japanese fine art.
About 1880's, Meiji period,
Very good condition except of some age worn on bamboo shaft
