Japanese silver-alloy smoking pipe or 'kiseru' with bamboo shift. Images of a Tiger and Dragon are engraved artistically on mouthpiece and head of this rare tobacco-pipe. Japanese ancient legend about struggle between the Dragon and the Tiger is very popular theme of Japanese fine art.
Highly collectible.
About mid. Meiji period.
Excellent condition except of some age worn and tiny crack on a bamboo shaft.
Measurements: 22cm in length.
